VFF President works with FIFA for the future of Vietnam football

On the morning of March 22, Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan, Chairman of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), held a reception for the FIFA School Football Program working group.

During the meeting, Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan, Chairman of VFF, expressed gratitude to the FIFA working group for their support in organizing a meaningful training program for school football in Vietnam.

Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan emphasized that football, in particular, and sports, in general, have a significant influence on society. Therefore, VFF hopes to continue receiving support from FIFA to develop sustainable football, from school football to professional football.

In response, Ms. Fatimata Sow Sidibe, Director of the FIFA School Football Program, thanked VFF for facilitating the best conditions for the working group to convey useful content to the participants of the FIFA School Football Training Program.

Ms. Fatimata also shared that with the support of related organizations and member federations, FIFA hopes to continue expanding school football activities, providing basic and essential knowledge to teachers and students, aiming to create an equal and positive environment for children.

The FIFA School Football working group, including experts in football, nutrition, healthcare, and child protection, spent nearly 3 days working with officials, teachers, and physical education instructors at schools under the Department of Education and Training in the Northern region.

With theoretical and practical experiences, the participants were imparted with basic knowledge, laying the foundation for the development of football in schools locally.
