The Cong Viettel will unexpectedly play their round 26 V-League 2023/2024 match against SLNA at Lạch Tray Stadium instead of the previously registered Mỹ Đình Stadium.
According to an announcement from the V-League organizers, the last two rounds of the 2023/2024 season will be played simultaneously. In round 26, Hanoi FC will face Binh Duong at Hang Day Stadium.
Therefore, The Cong Viettel needs to find an alternative venue. VPF has confirmed that the military team has chosen Lạch Tray Stadium to host their match against Song Lam nghe An on June 30, 2024.
VPF announcement states: “Based on the request from The Cong Viettel to change the venue for their round 26 match, the organizers have reviewed and decided: The round 26 V-League 2023/2024 match between The Cong Viettel and Song Lam Nghe An on June 30, 2024, will be held at Lạch Tray Stadium – Hai Phong instead of My Dinh Stadium as per the current schedule.”
The Cong Viettel has been in excellent form recently. A series of favorable results have propelled Coach Duc Thang’s team to fifth place on the standings with 33 points. In round 23, The Cong Viettel will be away to Hà Tĩnh.
This strategic move aims to ensure that both The Cong Viettel and Hanoi FC can play their crucial matches without scheduling conflicts, maintaining the integrity of the competition’s final rounds.
