The 31-year-old winger becomes the club’s ninth foreign player, as the team strengthens its squad to cope with a busy schedule in the upcoming season.
Mahmoud Eid, born in 1993, has earned 26 caps and scored one goal for the Palestine national team. He is no stranger to Southeast Asian football, having previously played in Indonesia and Thailand. The forward is currently valued at €600,000, according to Transfermarkt.

The signing of Mahmoud Eid is part of Nam Dinh’s broader strategy to build a deep and competitive squad. The club will face an intense season ahead, competing in five tournaments: the Vietnamese Super Cup, V.League 1, National Cup, AFC Champions League Two, and ASEAN Club Championship. The addition of foreign talents like Eid is expected to give the team an edge in both domestic and continental competitions.
Currently, Nam Dinh FC are on a training camp in South Korea as they fine-tune their preparations for the 2025/26 season. The club will first aim to claim the Vietnamese Super Cup against Hanoi Police FC on August 9, before embarking on their journey to defend their V.League title and make a strong impact in regional tournaments.
