Hung Yen, 1st August, 2025 – PVF clinched the title of the U15 National Championship – Acecook Cup 2025 after an impressive 2-0 victory over Hanoi in the final.
Earlier in the group stage, PVF had suffered a 2-4 loss to Hanoi. However, coach Nguyen Xuan Thanh’s side learned valuable lessons and implemented a well-adjusted tactical approach for the decisive rematch. PVF started cautiously, playing with discipline and a deep defensive line to neutralize Hanoi’s fast-paced attacks.
This strategy quickly paid off. While Hanoi struggled to break through the compact defense, PVF capitalized effectively on counterattacks. In the 31st minute, Trong Hiep showcased composure in the box to open the scoring for the home team. With the advantage, PVF played with greater confidence in the second half.
Despite dominating possession, Hanoi failed to find an equalizer against PVF’s resolute backline. As the visitors pushed forward, they were punished again in the 75th minute when Bao Anh doubled the lead. PVF maintained control until the final whistle, sealing a 2-0 victory and securing the championship.
With his outstanding performances, PVF goalkeeper Le Hoang Gia Bao was named “Best Goalkeeper of the Tournament.” The “Top Scorer” award went to Hanoi’s Tran Manh Quan. Meanwhile, SLNA and Dong Thap shared third place, with SLNA also earning the “Fair Play” award.
This triumph further cements PVF’s reputation as a leading youth football academy in Vietnam, concluding an emotional and high-quality 2025 U15 National Championship – Acecook Cup.
