Hanoi, 7 April 2026 – Late on the evening of April 7, Duy Manh took to his personal social media page to seek assistance from the netizen in locating a lost watch that holds deep personal value. The Vietnam international shared a detailed account of the incident, expressing hope that someone might come forward with information to help him recover the item.
According to his post, the incident occurred on March 31 while he was checking out of Muong Thanh Hotel in Ha Nam. During the process of packing his belongings, he placed his green Audemars Piguet watch into his backpack before leaving the room. Upon reaching the hotel lobby, he asked an acquaintance, who was traveling with his family, to help carry both the backpack and a suitcase to a rented 12-seater vehicle.
During the journey from Ha Nam to Hanoi, the backpack was positioned under the last row of seats, next to the acquaintance, while Duy Manh and his family members sat in the front and middle rows of the vehicle. After being dropped off late at night, he simply left the backpack at home without checking its contents.
It was not until the following morning, April 1, when he brought the backpack to his team and began unpacking, that he discovered the watch was missing. He emphasized that security camera footage at his home showed no one had touched the bag during that time, narrowing down the possible window of the loss.
Duy Manh stated that he had already spoken with the acquaintance involved, who denied any connection to the disappearance. After spending a week reviewing the situation, he officially reported the case to the Criminal Police Department of Ninh Binh Province.
In his message, the defender appealed to the public for help, asking anyone who might have found a green Audemars Piguet watch with serial number TH1422M to contact him directly. He also expressed gratitude to the Ninh Binh Provincial Police and the management of Muong Thanh Hotel for their prompt support. For Duy Manh, the watch is not just a valuable item but a meaningful keepsake, making its recovery especially important.
