🏆 Champions night! Hanoi Police FC seal perfect celebration with victory and V.League 1 – 2025/26 trophy lift

Hanoi, 31 May 2026 – Dinh Bac delivered a standout performance as Hanoi Police FC defeated Becamex Binh Duong 2-1 in Round 25 of V.League 1 2025/2026 on May 31. The victory was followed by the club’s official trophy presentation ceremony in front of approximately 13,000 fans at Hang Day Stadium.

Having secured the league title three rounds earlier, Hanoi Police FC entered the match as newly crowned champions. Their previous 1-1 draw against Hong Linh Ha Tinh had no impact on their position at the top of the table, while the home fixture against Becamex Binh Duong provided the perfect stage to celebrate the championship with supporters.

Coach Mano Polking fielded a strong lineup featuring key players such as Nguyen Filip, Nguyen Quang Hai, Nguyen Dinh Bac, Leo Artur, and Alan Grafite.

Backed by a passionate home crowd, Hanoi Police FC took control from the opening whistle. The hosts attacked relentlessly down both flanks and nearly scored in the 10th minute when Dinh Bac set up Alan Grafite for a finish, only for the goal to be ruled out after the ball was judged to have crossed the byline.

The breakthrough arrived six minutes later. Dinh Bac once again played a decisive role, delivering a perfectly weighted pass that allowed Alan Grafite to break through and put the champions ahead.

Hanoi Police FC continued to dominate throughout the first half, creating numerous chances. Alan Grafite and Leo Artur repeatedly tested goalkeeper Minh Toan, who produced several outstanding saves to keep the visitors in the contest.

Becamex Binh Duong struggled to create any meaningful opportunities before halftime and nearly suffered another setback when Tuan Canh was initially shown a red card for a challenge on Quang Hai. However, after a VAR review, the decision was downgraded to a yellow card.

The second half began in perfect fashion for the champions. Just over a minute after the restart, Leo Artur doubled the lead following another excellent contribution from Dinh Bac, who calmly controlled the ball before providing the assist.

Trailing by two goals, Becamex Binh Duong pushed forward and found a lifeline in the 57th minute when Milos scored from close range to reduce the deficit to 2-1.

Despite the visitors’ response, the match remained largely one-sided. Hanoi Police FC continued to threaten through Dinh Bac and substitute Minh Phuc, but goalkeeper Minh Toan produced an impressive display to prevent further goals.

The 2-1 victory lifted Hanoi Police FC to 64 points, equaling the V.League 1 single-season points record set by Hanoi FC in 2018. Moments after the final whistle, the champions celebrated by officially lifting the V.League 1 2025/2026 trophy.

For Becamex Binh Duong, the defeat deepened relegation concerns. With 21 points from 25 matches, they are level with Da Nang FC and PVF-CAND, leaving the survival battle wide open heading into the final round of the season.
