Ninh Binhh, 21 July 2026 – The V.League 1 transfer market is attracting increasing attention from football fans as clubs continue to strengthen their squads with players boasting impressive backgrounds ahead of the new season.
After confirming the signing of Pham Tuan Hai, Nam Dinh have continued their recruitment drive by bringing in another notable addition, Reece Minh Kai.
Born in 2004, Reece Minh Kai is an American-Vietnamese right-back who developed through the youth system of German club Schalke 04. The young defender also spent time playing for AFC Eskilstuna in Sweden, gaining valuable experience in European football.
Reece Minh Kai is expected to add youth, energy and further competition to Nam Dinh’s defensive options. Having developed and played in Europe, the 22-year-old arrives with a strong footballing foundation and is regarded as a promising long-term addition for the defending V.League 1 side.
Meanwhile, Hanoi FC have also strengthened their squad with the arrival of Andrew Jung, an imposing striker who stands at 1.92 meters tall.
Born in 1997, Jung arrives in Vietnam following an impressive campaign in Indonesian football. Last season, the forward demonstrated his goalscoring ability by registering 16 goals and two assists in 33 league appearances, making him one of the notable attacking additions to the V.League 1 transfer market.
Before moving to Southeast Asia, Jung built up considerable experience in European football, representing clubs in France, Belgium and Greece during his career.
With Nam Dinh adding the promising Reece Minh Kai and Hanoi FC reinforcing their attack with the prolific Andrew Jung, the latest moves further highlight the growing competition among V.League 1 clubs in the transfer market as teams look to strengthen their squads ahead of the new campaign.
