Hanoi, 27 August 2026 – Herbalife Vietnam joined the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) in holding a send-off event for the Vietnam women’s national team and the U23 national team in Hanoi on Thursday, offering encouragement ahead of the 20th Asian Games in Japan.
The “Supporting Vietnamese Football” gathering at VFF headquarters brought together federation officials, representatives of the two coaching staffs, Herbalife Vietnam leaders and hundreds of the company’s independent members.
During the event, VFF representatives offered their best wishes to the two teams ahead of their departure for Japan. Members of the coaching staffs also provided updates on their preparations and underlined the players’ competitive spirit and determination to perform strongly at the continental event.
Herbalife representatives and independent members presented flowers and gifts to the teams and joined the players and coaching staffs for commemorative photographs. The company also provided several nutrition products for the players to use during the event.
VFF General Secretary Nguyen Van Phu thanked Herbalife Vietnam for its continued support of the country’s national football teams.
“The Vietnam Football Federation highly values Herbalife Vietnam’s partnership in supporting and motivating our national teams,” Phu said. “These pre-tournament programmes are not only a source of encouragement for the players but also help spread the community’s interest in and support for the teams.
“VFF wishes the Vietnam women’s national team and the U23 team confidence, unity and the determination to give their best at the 2026 Asian Games.”
Mr. Vu Van Thang, General Manager of Herbalife Vietnam and Cambodia, said the company was honoured to work with VFF on the programme and help the players prepare for one of their most important assignments of the year.
“As a VFF partner since 2021, our support for this event demonstrates Herbalife’s strong commitment to providing the assistance and encouragement the players need to prepare as well as possible and pursue outstanding results,” Thang said.
He also wished both teams a successful campaign, adding that their achievements could bring pride to Vietnam and inspire more people to embrace active, healthy lifestyles.
Herbalife has partnered with VFF since 2021 and currently provides product sponsorship to 144 players across Vietnam’s national football teams. The partnership also includes training programmes covering sports nutrition and physical conditioning, designed to help players improve their fitness and compete more effectively at international tournaments.
