Hanoi, 28 August 2026 – Adidas Vietnam has officially announced a partnership with Hanoi FC, marking the first time the global sportswear giant has become an official partner of a professional football club in Vietnam.
Announced in August 2026, the agreement represents a significant milestone for both sides. For adidas, the partnership reinforces its commitment to the development of Vietnamese football, while Hanoi FC becomes the first professional club in the country to establish an official partnership with one of the world’s leading sportswear brands.
The collaboration is built around shared values of ambition, innovation and the belief that sport can bring communities together. It also forms part of adidas’ broader efforts to strengthen its presence within Vietnam’s football ecosystem and bring international standards closer to domestic players and supporters.
For Hanoi FC, the agreement carries additional significance as the Capital club celebrates its 20th anniversary.
“This is a milestone that is significant not only for Hanoi FC, as it marks the first time a football club in Vietnam has officially established a kit sponsorship partnership with adidas. For us, this is not simply about changing the brand that appears on our shirts. The partnership with adidas also reflects Hanoi FC’s ambition to gradually raise our professional standards, from our image, match and training apparel, and brand development to bringing official club merchandise closer to our supporters,” a Hanoi FC representative said.
New Kits Celebrate 20 Years of Hanoi FC
Alongside the partnership announcement, adidas and Hanoi FC unveiled the club’s 2026/27 kit collection, inspired by Hanoi FC’s two-decade journey and its ambitions for the future.
Built around the concept “Legend Wears the Next Chapter,” the collection combines the traditions that have shaped Hanoi FC’s identity with the determination to continue building a new era of success.
The collection features three distinctive designs representing different aspects of the club’s past, present and future.
The Home Kit retains Hanoi FC’s signature Royal Purple, celebrating the identity and pride associated with the Capital club. The Away Kit, featuring Victory Gold, symbolizes ambition, success and the desire to compete for trophies. Meanwhile, the Third Kit adopts a modern Pearl White look designed to appeal to a younger generation of supporters and connect football culture with everyday life.
The partnership launch was held alongside Hanoi FC’s official send-off ceremony for the 2026/27 campaign. The club also recognized the partners and sponsors who have supported its development, including T&T Homes, Vinawind and Vietravel Airlines.

Hanoi FC Target New Success Under Harry Kewell
After two decades of development, Hanoi FC have established themselves as one of the most successful clubs in Vietnamese football.
The Capital side have won six V.League titles, three National Cups and five National Super Cups, achievements that have created both a proud legacy and increasingly high expectations for the club’s next chapter.
Heading into 2026/27, Hanoi FC will continue to emphasize fighting spirit, discipline, unity and a strong winning mentality. The club aims to challenge near the top of the domestic standings and compete for the highest honors available while building a squad capable of sustaining success over the long term.
The new campaign also represents another stage in the club’s development under head coach Harry Kewell. Drawing on his extensive experience in international football as both a player and coach, Kewell and his staff have focused their preseason preparations on developing the team’s playing philosophy, increasing competition for places and creating an effective balance between experienced players and emerging talent.
Youth development will remain an important part of that strategy. Alongside established senior players, Hanoi FC intend to continue providing opportunities for footballers developed through their own academy system, maintaining a pathway for young prospects to progress into the professional game.
Off the pitch, the club also hopes to deepen its relationships with supporters, commercial partners and sponsors. The arrival of adidas alongside Hanoi FC’s existing partners is expected to strengthen that foundation while supporting the club’s push toward higher professional standards.
With a new adidas partnership, a refreshed collection of kits and ambitious sporting objectives, Hanoi FC enter their 20th-anniversary season looking not simply to celebrate their history, but to begin the next chapter of it.
