Hanoi FC sign Brazilian center-back Adriel Tadeu for 2025/2026 season

Hanoi, 20 July, 2025 – Hanoi FC have officially secured the signature of Brazilian center-back Adriel Tadeu Ferreira da Silva for the 2025/2026 season, adding a proven international presence to their defensive lineup.

Born in São Paulo in 1997, Adriel Tadeu began his professional career with Osasco Audax before taking his first step abroad in 2019, joining Gainare Tottori in Japan’s J3 League. After a brief return to Brazil, the 28-year-old defender moved to Austria, where he played a pivotal role in Austria Lustenau’s successful 2021/2022 campaign that ended with the club being crowned champions of the Austrian Second Division and earning promotion to the Austrian Bundesliga.

He later joined Schwarz-Weiß Bregenz and spent two seasons there before making the move to Vietnam to join the V.League 1 giants, Hanoi FC.

Speaking about his decision to come to Vietnam, Adriel Tadeu expressed confidence and ambition. “For me, playing in a foreign country is not a big issue. I’ve played in Japan, returned to Brazil, then moved to Austria, and now I’m in Vietnam. I believe I can adapt quickly to the football environment and style here. Hanoi FC is an ambitious club that always aims for the title, and I like that,” he said.

With experience across multiple countries and a championship title in Europe under his belt, Adriel Tadeu is expected to strengthen Hanoi FC’s backline as they compete on multiple fronts in the upcoming season.
