Thep Xanh Nam Dinh cause a sensation in South Korea

South Korea, 31 July 2025 – Nam Dinh are showing excellent form during their pre-season training camp in South Korea, recording a series of victories ahead of the 2025/26 V.League campaign. Under the guidance of head coach Vu Hong Viet, the reigning V.League 1 champions have demonstrated solid performances, particularly with the contributions from their new foreign signings.

On July 31, Nam Dinh defeated Suwon FC 2-1, with goals coming from Brenner and towering striker Kyle Hudlin. This win followed another 2-1 victory over the same opponent on July 24, where Hudlin and Tran Van Kien were the scorers. Just days earlier, on July 28, Nam Dinh overcame FC Seoul with a convincing 3-1 triumph, further showcasing their readiness for the new season.

The standout performer of the tour has been Kyle Hudlin, the world’s tallest professional footballer at 2.1 meters, who has consistently found the back of the net in all three matches. His height and aerial dominance have added a new dimension to Nam Dinh’s attacking play, making him a key asset for the club.

These positive results not only boost the team’s morale but also raise expectations among their supporters. With Hudlin in top form and Xuan Son set to return, Nam Dinh’s attack promises to be one of the most formidable in the upcoming season.

The team will continue fine-tuning their preparations before returning to Vietnam, where they will face Hanoi Police FC in the National Super Cup on August 9 – a clash that will serve as their first test ahead of defending their league title.
