VPF makes an important decision regarding Hang Day Stadium

In a crucial meeting held this afternoon, it was revealed that three clubs have registered to use Hang Day Stadium for the 2024/25 season. Mr. Nguyen Minh Ngoc, CEO of VPF (Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company), provided detailed information about the upcoming season and the steps needed to address this overlap.

“The 2024/25 season is scheduled to commence in September 2024, with the draft schedule planning to be announced on July 25, 2024,” Mr. Ngoc stated. “Following today’s meeting, VPF will issue a formal document to the involved clubs and propose discussions with the Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism to find support solutions for the clubs that cannot use Hang Day Stadium.”

To ensure a smooth process, VPF has urged the clubs to finalize their stadium arrangements as soon as possible. “We request that the clubs make a prompt decision regarding their official stadiums. According to the plan, the clubs must complete their registration procedures for the upcoming season by July 19, 2024, which includes the registration of their home stadiums. When submitting their registration documents to VPF, it is mandatory to have a lease agreement for the chosen stadium,” Mr. Ngoc emphasized.

The overlapping registrations have necessitated a swift resolution to avoid scheduling conflicts and ensure that each club has a designated home ground for their matches. VPF’s proactive approach includes liaising with the Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism to explore alternative venues and support measures for the clubs affected by this situation.

With the new season approaching, clubs are under pressure to secure their home grounds and comply with the VPF’s requirements. The finalized stadium arrangements will be crucial for the smooth operation of the 2024/25 season, ensuring that all logistical aspects are handled efficiently and that each club can focus on their preparations without the added concern of stadium availability.

The meeting today underscores the importance of collaboration and timely decision-making as the clubs and VPF work together to resolve the current challenges. With clear deadlines and necessary support from the Hanoi authorities, it is expected that suitable arrangements will be made promptly, allowing the clubs to continue their preparations for the new season with confidence.

In conclusion, the VPF’s commitment to addressing the stadium registration issue and providing support to the clubs demonstrates a proactive approach to ensuring the successful organization of the 2024/25 season. As the registration deadline approaches, all parties involved are encouraged to finalize their plans swiftly to avoid any disruptions and ensure a seamless start to the new season.
