According to the latest transfer news for the 2024/2025 V-League season, center-back Tran Dinh Trong has officially joined Hanoi Police FC. This move marks another significant addition to the squad for the upcoming season.
Hanoi Police FC has signed Tran Dinh Trong, who departed from Binh Dinh after the 2023/2024 season. In his statement to the media on the day of the contract signing, Dinh Trong expressed his excitement: “I am very happy and excited to join Hanoi Police FC. Honestly, I am eager to start training and playing in the team’s colors.
There are two main reasons why I chose to join Hanoi Police FC. Firstly, Hanoi Police FC is a club with tradition, goals, and ambition, which aligns with my personal objectives. Secondly, after spending time playing away from home, I wanted to be closer to my family and contribute to a team near home. I aim to give my best to help the team achieve the highest success in all competitions this season.”
Tran Dinh Trong has had a decorated career, coming through the ranks at the Hanoi Youth Football Training Center. His achievements include winning the U19 National Championship (2014, 2016), U21 National Championship (2015, 2016), V-League titles (2018, 2019), National Cup (2019, 2020), and National Super Cup (2018, 2019, 2020).
Before signing Dinh Trong, Hanoi Police FC also secured the services of striker Alan from Binh Dinh, the second-highest scoring foreign player in the V-League 2023/2024. Additionally, the club successfully extended the contract of star player Quang Hai, further strengthening their squad for the upcoming season.
