Vietnam’s national football team coach, Kim Sang Sik, donated VND 100 million to the “Tam Long Viet” charity fund to support efforts in overcoming the aftermath of the recent storms and floods.
On September 26, his representative company posted a photo of Coach Kim Sang Sik handing over the donation. The Korean coach contributed this amount to assist in the recovery from the devastating effects of Typhoon Yagi (Typhoon No. 3) and the floods that have impacted the northern provinces of Vietnam in recent times.
His representative company shared on Facebook, stating: “Typhoon Yagi, the strongest storm in the past 30 years, has caused severe damage to the people of Vietnam. With his compassion and affection, the head coach of the Vietnamese national team, Mr. Kim Sang Sik, has made a small contribution to the ‘Tam Long Viet’ charity fund, with the hope of helping those affected by the storm.”
Several sports organizations and athletes in Vietnam have also made significant donations and offered aid to assist regions in difficulty. Many players from the national football team have also contributed personally, making financial donations through the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
