Thanh Hoa, 18 June, 2025 – With one match still remaining in the V.League 1 – 2024/25 season, midfielder A Mit has announced his departure from Thanh Hoa FC, bringing an emotional end to a two-season journey filled with highs and lows.
Taking to his personal social media account, A Mit penned a heartfelt message of gratitude to the club and its supporters:
“Every journey has a stopping point, and this stop will be the start of a new adventure. I would like to express my deepest thanks to Thanh Hoa Football Club, the coaching staff, the board of directors, all the uncles, older brothers in the technical crew, my beloved teammates, and the passionate Thanh Hoa fans.
Throughout my time here, I’ve experienced a truly wonderful chapter. Despite the ups and downs, I’ve always cherished every moment with the club, as well as the genuine and warm support from the fans. Thank you for everything. I wish everyone good health, peace, and continued success on the journey ahead.”
A Mit’s departure marks a significant loss for Thanh Hoa. The 1997-born midfielder was a key figure in the squad, making 29 appearances across all competitions this season, scoring one goal and delivering two assists. Known for his work rate and tactical discipline, A Mit played an essential role in the club’s midfield setup.
During his stint at Thanh Hoa, he was part of the club’s golden era under coach Velizar Popov, helping the team secure two National Cups and one Vietnamese Super Cup. Interestingly, Popov has also left Thanh Hoa and now leads The Cong Viettel.
While A Mit has yet to reveal his next destination, his departure has sparked interest from multiple clubs, especially given his consistent performance and experience in Vietnam’s top-tier league. Thanh Hoa, on the other hand, faces a challenging period ahead as they look to rebuild following the exits of both a key player and their influential head coach.
The final match of the season may not feature A Mit on the pitch, but his contributions to Thanh Hoa will be remembered fondly by both teammates and fans alike.
