Hanoi, 23 November 2025 – Hanoi FC have officially secured the future of goalkeeper Quan Van Chuan, extending his contract to 2030 as the young star continues his journey with the capital club.
Hanoi FC have confirmed a long-term contract extension with goalkeeper Quan Van Chuan, ensuring the 24-year-old remains with the capital club until 2030. The new deal highlights both the club’s trust in his development and the player’s desire to continue contributing to one of Vietnam’s most successful teams.
Growing up in a poor rural area of Tuyen Quang, Quan Van Chuan showed an early passion for football and joined the Hanoi FC youth academy at the age of 10. Over the years, he progressed steadily through the ranks, earning praise for his discipline, reflexes and maturity.

On 8 September 2022, Van Chuan made his official debut for Hanoi FC when he started in the National Cup quarterfinal against Binh Phuoc. Since then, the goalkeeper wearing jersey number 1 has recorded 34 appearances for the club, becoming a key part of the team’s future planning.
At the national level, the Tay ethnic goalkeeper received his first call-up to U23 Vietnam in August 2020. He then made his official debut in October 2021 with two friendly matches against U23 Kyrgyzstan. His most memorable achievements include winning the SEA Games 31 gold medal on home soil and lifting the U23 AFF Championship trophy in 2023.
Recognising his continuous improvement and long-term potential, Hanoi FC’s management chose to extend his contract through 2030. The agreement demonstrates the club’s commitment to maintaining a strong core of local talent for future seasons.
Speaking after signing, Van Chuan expressed his gratitude and determination: “This new contract is not only a reward for my efforts but also a motivation for me to keep working harder every day, both in training and during matches, to be worthy of the number 1 shirt I am wearing.”
With the extension completed, Hanoi FC have secured one of Vietnam’s most promising goalkeepers, reinforcing their ambition to compete strongly across domestic and continental competitions in the coming years.
