Hanoi, 26 March 2026 – On the morning of March 26, Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company and the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) held the official draw for the final round of the National U15 Championship.
According to the plan, the 2026 National U15 Championship finals will take place from April 1 to April 14 at Thanh Long Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City, featuring 12 teams. The teams will be divided into three groups of four, competing in a round-robin format. At the end of the group stage, the top two teams from each group, along with the two best third-placed teams, will advance to the quarterfinals, promising a highly competitive and exciting tournament.
This year’s competition continues to feature many of the country’s leading youth academies. Defending champions U15 PVF are placed in Group B alongside Quang Nam, The Cong Viettel I, and Can Tho. Group A includes Ninh Binh, Tay Ninh, Song Lam Nghe An I, and hosts Ho Chi Minh City. Meanwhile, Group C is considered evenly balanced, featuring Becamex Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi I, Da Nang, and Dak Lak.
In terms of prizes, the champions will receive VND 100 million, the runners-up VND 80 million, and both third-placed teams will earn VND 50 million each. These rewards not only serve as motivation but also contribute to improving the overall quality of the competition.
The National U15 Championship, organized annually by the VFF since 1998, plays a crucial role in Vietnam’s youth development system. It is regarded as an important stepping stone for young players to gain experience and progress to higher levels.
Speaking at the event, VFF General Secretary Nguyen Van Phu emphasized that youth development remains a key priority in Vietnam’s football strategy. He noted that the U15 Championship is not only a competitive platform but also an ideal environment to discover, nurture, and develop young talents.
Representing the sponsor, Nguyen Duc Manh of Acecook Vietnam expressed confidence that this year’s tournament will be a success, promoting a positive sporting spirit and attracting strong interest from fans. He also reaffirmed the company’s commitment to supporting the sustainable development of Vietnamese football.
