Hanoi, 21 July 2026 – Cong An Ha Noi FC have officially completed the signing of. Colombian striker Brayan Perea, a former Lazio forward who also represented Colombia at U20 level.
Perea becomes the latest foreign addition to the capital club’s squad and the second overseas signing to arrive in recent weeks, following midfielder David Henen.
Introducing their new striker, Cong An Ha Noi FC highlighted Perea’s imposing physical presence and experience at a high level of European football.
“The Colombian striker possesses an impressive physique, standing at 1.90 meters tall, as well as a strong playing résumé, highlighted by his time with Lazio in Italy’s Serie A. The arrival of a high-quality and experienced striker like Brayan Perea represents an important addition that will significantly strengthen the capital club’s attacking options,” the club said on its social media channels.
Perea was on the books of Lazio from 2013 to 2018. During that period, the Colombian forward gained experience in Italian and European football before continuing his career with a number of clubs in different countries after leaving the Serie A side.
Most recently, Perea competed in Southeast Asia, playing for Port FC in Thailand during the 2025/26 season. His familiarity with football in the region could help him adapt more quickly to the demands of the V.League following his move to Vietnam.
At international youth level, Perea was part of the Colombia U20 squad at the 2013 FIFA U20 World Cup. That generation also featured several players who went on to establish themselves at senior international level.
Among Perea’s former Colombia youth teammates were Juan Quintero and Jhon Cordoba, both of whom later developed successful careers and were part of Colombia’s squad at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
With his combination of height, physical strength and experience across several footballing environments, Perea is expected to provide Cong An Ha Noi FC with another attacking option as the club strengthens its squad for the new campaign.
