Hanoi, 22 July 2026 – Hanoi FC have officially completed the signing of winger Bui Ngoc Long from Hanoi Police FC as they continue strengthening their squad for the 2026/27 V.League 1 campaign.
According to the latest V.League 1 transfer updates, the capital club has secured the services of the 24-year-old winger in what is regarded as a key addition following the departure of striker Pham Tuan Hai, who recently joined Nam Dinh FC.
Bui Ngoc Long arrives at Hanoi FC after spending four seasons with Hanoi Police FC. Since joining the club, the winger has made 54 appearances across all competitions, scoring four goals and providing four assists. Renowned for his pace, explosive acceleration and relentless work rate, the 2001-born player has built a reputation as a dangerous attacking threat capable of creating chances from either flank.

During the 2025/26 season, Ngoc Long featured in 15 matches and consistently impressed whenever called upon. He also played a role in helping Hanoi Police FC lift the 2025/26 Vietnamese National Cup, adding valuable silverware to his career.
Hanoi FC believe the arrival of Ngoc Long will help fill the void left by Pham Tuan Hai. Although he is not a traditional centre-forward, the versatile winger is comfortable operating across the front line, particularly on either wing, offering head coach additional tactical flexibility and greater attacking variety.
Before finalizing the signing of Bui Ngoc Long, Hanoi FC also secured the future of club captain Do Hung Dung, extending his contract until 2028. The club has further strengthened its attacking options with the addition of foreign striker Andrew Jung.
With several important reinforcements and the successful retention of key players, Hanoi FC has made its ambitions clear ahead of the new campaign. The club is assembling a deeper and more competitive squad with the goal of challenging for the 2026/27 V.League 1 title while also competing strongly in domestic competitions throughout the season.
