Hanoi, 28 August 2026 – Viettel Telecom’s TV360 has been announced as the main sponsor of Group C in the AFC U20 Asian Cup 2027 Qualifiers, with the digital platform also set to broadcast every match from the group.
The sponsorship agreement between Viettel Telecom and the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) was formally announced at a signing ceremony at VFF headquarters in Hanoi on August 28.
It marks the first time Viettel Telecom has sponsored an AFC U20 Asian Cup qualifying group and reflects the company’s commitment to supporting the development of Vietnam’s next generation of football talent.
Group C will be staged at Viet Tri Stadium in Phu Tho province from August 31 to September 6. Hosts Vietnam will compete against Iran, DPR Korea and Palestine for a place at the 2027 finals.
All six matches in the group will be shown live on VFF’s official media channels and the TV360 entertainment application. Viettel subscribers will also receive free high-speed 4G and 5G data when watching the tournament live through TV360.
VFF General Secretary Nguyen Van Phu described youth football as a central part of Vietnam’s long-term development strategy.
“Viettel Telecom’s partnership with Group C of the AFC U20 Asian Cup 2027 Qualifiers will not only help improve the quality of the tournament’s organisation but also provide significant motivation for the young players on their journey towards the highest level of Asian football,” Phu said.
“The Vietnam Football Federation believes the tournament will be successfully organised, deliver exciting matches and help develop quality players for the senior national team in the future.”
Mai Nhu Ngoc, Deputy Director of TV360, said Vietnam’s U20 team represented a strategically important generation for the country’s football future.
“As the main sponsor of Group C and the tournament’s full-match broadcaster, TV360 is committed to providing supporters with a high-quality and seamless digital viewing experience while also supporting the younger generation and promoting national pride,” Ngoc said.
Vietnam begin their campaign against DPR Korea at 7pm on August 31 before meeting Palestine at the same time on September 3. Their final fixture will be against Iran at 7pm on September 6.
The eight group winners and seven best runners-up will qualify for the 16-team finals alongside hosts China.
