Ninh Binh, 2 July 2026 – Nam Dinh FC have officially announced the signing of three domestic players ahead of the 2026/27 season: goalkeeper Trinh Xuan Hoang, defender Dam Tien Dung, and midfielder Tran Manh Quynh. All three arrivals bring valuable V.League 1 experience and have consistently delivered solid performances in recent seasons.
The club confirmed the news through its official social media channels:
“Nam Dinh officially welcome Dam Tien Dung, Trinh Xuan Hoang, and Tran Manh Quynh to the club ahead of the new season. We wish Xuan Hoang, Manh Quynh, and Tien Dung a smooth transition, outstanding performances, and a successful campaign together with Nam Dinh.”
Among the trio, goalkeeper Trinh Xuan Hoang stands out for his remarkable career story. The 1.84m shot-stopper was part of the Vietnam U23 squad that won the 2022 AFF U23 Championship, despite the team being severely depleted by COVID-19. He also made headlines during the 2025/26 V.League 1 season when he was deployed as an emergency striker for Dong A Thanh Hoa amid a squad shortage, helping the club secure its top-flight status.

Defender Dam Tien Dung has established himself as one of the most reliable left-footed defenders in the V.League 1 over the past few seasons. Born in 1996, he has previously represented The Cong Viettel, Binh Dinh FC, Dong A Thanh Hoa, and Hai Phong FC, bringing a wealth of experience to Nam Dinh’s backline.
Meanwhile, Tran Manh Quynh arrives after emerging as one of Song Lam Nghe An’s key players. The 2001-born midfielder has been a familiar face in Vietnam’s youth national team setup, earning multiple call-ups to both the Vietnam U19 and Vietnam U23 squads. His versatility and composure in midfield are expected to strengthen Nam Dinh’s options heading into the new campaign.
The three additions underline Nam Dinh FC’s ambition to reinforce the squad with proven domestic talent as the club prepares for another challenging LP Bank V.League 1 season.
