Bac Ninh, 1 August 2026 – Bac Ninh FC have officially announced the signing of Brazilian striker Brenner Marlos, continuing the club’s busy recruitment drive ahead of its debut V.League 1 campaign. The experienced forward joins after parting ways with Nam Dinh FC following the conclusion of the 2025/26 V.League season.
Born in 1994, Brenner came through the youth academy of Brazilian club Juventude before building an extensive professional career across several countries. After playing in Brazil, he went on to feature in Peru’s top flight, Japan’s J2 League, and the Thai League, gaining valuable international experience before arriving in Vietnam in early 2025 to join Nam Dinh.
Standing 1.84 meters tall, the Brazilian forward has now secured another opportunity to showcase his abilities in Vietnamese football after completing his move to Bac Ninh.
In an official statement, the club highlighted Brenner’s extensive experience across different footballing environments as one of the key reasons behind the signing.
“Having played in several different leagues, Brenner has gained valuable experience and developed a strong understanding of Asian football. His spell with Nam Dinh last season also allowed him to adapt to Vietnamese football and become familiar with the demands of the V.League.
We expect Brenner to provide additional attacking options with his pace, intelligent movement, and natural goalscoring instinct, helping strengthen Bac Ninh FC’s frontline in the club’s first-ever V.League 1 season,” the club said.
Bac Ninh secured promotion to the 2026/27 V.League 1 after defeating PVF-CAND in the promotion play-off and have been one of the busiest clubs in the transfer market.
Before signing Brenner, the newly promoted side had already reinforced its squad with Brazilian midfielder Vitor Hugo Rosa Nascimento and former Brazil U16 center-back Rafael Santos de Sousa, underlining the club’s ambition to establish itself in Vietnam’s top flight.
