Ninh Binh FC’s squad value remains modest despite six new signings

Ninh Binh, 4 July, 2025 – Despite reinforcing the squad with six new signings ahead of the 2025/26 V.League season, Ninh Binh FC’s overall squad value remains relatively modest, placing them in the middle tier of the league in terms of transfer market valuation.

Following their promotion to the top flight, Ninh Binh FC quickly moved to bolster their lineup with notable additions, including Vietnamese players Duc Chien, Chau Ngoc Quang, Tran Bao Toan, and Dung Quang Nho, along with foreign imports Victor Morales and Pedraza. However, according to the latest update from Transfermarkt as of July 4, the club’s squad value has only seen a limited increase.

Currently, Ninh Binh FC’s squad is valued at €1.89 million, ranking 10th among V.League 1 clubs. Behind them are Quang Nam (€1.79 million), Da Nang, and Hoang Anh Gia Lai (€1.65 million each). At the top of the valuation chart sits reigning champions Nam Dinh, with a squad worth €6.64 million, maintaining their status as the most valuable team in the league.

One key reason for Ninh Binh’s lower valuation is that many of their players are yet to be assessed or valued by Transfermarkt. In fact, only five players from last season’s squad had listed transfer values, including Hoang Duc (€250,000), Dang Van Lam (€200,000), Nguyen Duc Viet and Dinh Thanh Binh (€100,000 each), and Nguyen Van Vinh (€10,000).

Among the new signings, Duc Chien holds the highest valuation at €250,000. Chau Ngoc Quang is valued at €225,000, while Pedraza, Dung Quang Nho, and Tran Bao Toan are each listed at €200,000. Victor Morales rounds out the new additions with a value of €150,000.

Although Ninh Binh FC has made a strong push in the transfer market to prepare for the rigors of top-tier football, their squad’s total valuation has yet to reflect that effort significantly. The club will be hoping that performances on the pitch during the 2025/26 season will help increase the visibility and market value of their players in the months to come.
