Hanoi, 31 July, 2025 – The Cong Viettel have made a strong statement in the transfer market by unveiling four new signings on July 31 as they prepare for the 2025/26 V.League 1 campaign. The reinforcements cover all three lines of play, including goalkeeper Nguyen Van Viet, defender Dinh Viet Tu, and midfielders Dang Van Tram and Dinh Xuan Tien.
Goalkeeper Nguyen Van Viet, one of Vietnam’s most promising young shot-stoppers, joins the club after impressing with standout performances for Song Lam Nghe An and playing a crucial role in Vietnam U23’s ASEAN Championship triumph.
In defense, head coach Velizar Popov reunites with Dinh Viet Tu, a player he previously coached at Thanh Hoa. With his familiarity with Popov’s tactical setup, Viet Tu is expected to be an important piece in strengthening the team’s defensive structure for the upcoming season.
The midfield receives a double boost with the arrivals of Dang Van Tram and Dinh Xuan Tien. Xuan Tien, in particular, is regarded as a high-potential talent, having shone in the U23 Vietnam squad as well as during his time at Song Lam Nghe An. His creativity and energy are expected to add depth and dynamism to The Cong Viettel’s midfield.
Beyond these four signings, the club is planning to introduce an additional five players in the coming weeks. These aggressive moves in the transfer market underline The Cong Viettel’s ambition to compete at the highest level and challenge for top honors in the 2025/26 V.League 1 season.
