Coach Kiatisuk officially leads Hanoi Police FC and will guide the team in the upcoming four-team friendly tournament at Hang Day Stadium before the return of the V-League.
The official website of Hanoi Police FC announced Coach Kiatisuk as the new head coach. Previously, the Thai coach had parted ways with HAGL, leaving the “hot seat” for Coach Vu Tien Thanh.
Sharing about his decision to leave HAGL for Hanoi Police FC, Coach Kiatisuk expressed: “It was difficult to say goodbye to HAGL. I deeply love this team and have many memories here. However, I also want new challenges for myself and Hanoi Police FC is the team I choose.
I aim to bring Hanoi Police FC back into the championship race, even to achieve a second consecutive championship, similar to what HAGL has done. Additionally, my goal is to take Hanoi Police FC to the continental stage. I am very determined to bring glory to this team.”
Coach Kiatisuk is the third head coach of Hanoi Police FC in the 2023/2024 season. Previously, the reigning V-League champions were temporarily led by Coach Tran Tien Dai and had an unsuccessful short period with Coach Gong Oh Kyun.
Currently, Hanoi Police FC is in fifth place in the V-League standings with 12 points after 8 rounds, trailing 9 points behind the leader Nam Dinh. According to the schedule, Coach Kiatisuk will have his first official match with Hanoi Police FC on February 18th, hosting Ho Chi Minh City FC in the 9th round of the V-League.
During the V-League break, Coach Kiatisuk will lead Hanoi Police FC in a four-team friendly tournament at Hang Day Stadium from January 22nd to 28th, with Hanoi FC, Daejeon Citizen, and Bali United participating.
