
Coach Mai Duc Chung has officially parted ways with the Vietnam National Team one month ago, after his contract expired at the end of December 2023. Currently, the 73-year-old strategist has had more time for his family after years of dedicated service to the country’s football.
Recently, Coach Mai Duc Chung has revealed some surprising plans for his future. Sharing on VTV, the former head coach of the Vietnam Women’s National Team expressed his joy about the Lunar New Year and the plans he is nurturing. “This year, I might have a lot of time with my family during the Lunar New Year, along with my wife, children, and grandchildren. In addition, I can go to the stadium to watch matches, supporting women’s football. Although I am getting older and my health may decline, my intellect and spirit are still sharp to offer some suggestions on how to further develop women’s football.”
