Coach Park Hang-seo has embarked on a new journey with Bac Ninh FC, a club recently introduced to the Vietnamese football scene. This team is ambitious, aiming to make significant strides in football development.
Previously leading the Vietnam national team, Coach Park Hang-seo now takes on the role of senior advisor for Bac Ninh FC. The club, freshly established, is gearing up for its debut in the national second division come 2024.
Marking its entry as a formidable force in Vietnamese football, Bac Ninh FC has made a significant move by securing Coach Park Hang-seo’s expertise. Moreover, the club’s management is investing heavily, pouring millions of USD into team operations, highlighting their ‘huge’ plans for the future.
To support its ambitions, Bac Ninh FC is upgrading the Tu Son Stadium to become their home venue and is in the process of setting up a youth training academy. Coach Park Hang-seo will be instrumental in this venture, guiding youth development, and steering the club towards achieving international recognition. The team, hailing from the quan ho region, aspires to ascend to the V-League, Vietnam’s premier football league.
Ngo Quang Truong, former head coach of SLNA, has been appointed to lead Bac Ninh FC. In preparation for the upcoming season, the team is bolstering its ranks with players who have V-League experience. Among these recruits is Dao Duy Khanh, a notable central defender who has represented Quang Nam FC, Than Quang Ninh FC, Hanoi FC, and Hai Phong FC. Additionally, Nguyen Quang Tinh, the ex-captain of SLNA, has joined the ranks of Bac Ninh FC.
Speculation regarding Coach Park Hang-seo’s next move has been rife. Despite offers from various clubs across Southeast Asia and rumors linking him to TP.HCM FC, Coach Park has remained dedicated to nurturing talent at his football academy. His commitment to the sport’s development continues to be his guiding principle as he embarks on this new chapter with Bac Ninh FC.
