On February 24th, Hanoi FC achieved a 3-1 victory over Ho Chi Minh City FC at Hang Day Stadium. This win propelled the capital’s team to 6th place in the standings after round 10 of the V-League 2023-2024, accumulating 13 points. Binh Dinh FC also notched an impressive 2-1 win against Nam Dinh FC at Quy Nhon Stadium. This victory helped the martial arts land’s team rise to 4th place with 19 points. Despite the away loss, Nam Dinh FC (22 points) remains at the top of the table but feels the pressure from Thanh Hoa FC (21 points) and Binh Duong FC (20 points) closely following. On the previous matchday (February 23rd), the reigning champions Hanoi Police FC defeated SLNA 1-0, moving up to 5th place with 18 points. Khanh Hoa FC suffered a defeat to Ha Tinh FC and is second from the bottom with 7 points. Viettel FC, after losing to Binh Duong FC, dropped to 12th out of 14 teams with 9 points, disappointing their fans.
