According to the Organizing Committee, Nam Dinh Club has been fined VND 5 million for violating regulations regarding obligations to sponsors.
After 12 rounds, Nam Dinh leads the V-League 2023/2024 standings with 28 points. Coach Vu Hong Viet and his team have created a 5-point gap with the second-placed team, thus winning the first leg of the season one round early.
In the 13th round of the V-League 2023/2024, Nam Dinh will host Thanh Hoa at Thien Truong Stadium. Before this round, the V-League Organizing Committee announced that Nam Dinh has been fined VND 5 million.
Disciplinary decision number 117/QD-LDBDVN states: “Nam Dinh Club is fined VND 5,000,000 (five million Vietnamese dong) for violating regulations regarding obligations to sponsors during the match between Nam Dinh Club and Hanoi FC at Thien Truong Stadium on 28/02/2024.”
In the match between Nam Dinh and Hanoi FC, both teams delivered a goal feast for the audience. Nam Dinh won the dramatic game with a score of 3-2, where the second and third goals for the home team were scored in stoppage time.
