Acecook Vietnam Elevates Support for National Football Teams with Enhanced Sponsorship

In a significant development for Vietnamese football, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), in collaboration with Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company, announced a renewed sponsorship agreement in a ceremony held in Hanoi on March 14. This partnership, extending from 2024 to 2027, marks a continued commitment to the national football teams of Vietnam, uplifting the sponsorship to the highest level under the “Top Star Partner” package.

This upgrade in sponsorship means that Acecook Vietnam’s logo will now be prominently displayed on the practice jerseys of the Vietnamese national football teams. Mr. Duong Nghiep Khoi, the General Secretary of VFF, highlighted the significance of this enhanced sponsorship, viewing it as a meaningful message for the development of football in the country. He emphasized that this agreement not only reaffirms the sponsor’s commitment to supporting Vietnamese football since 2018 but also plays a crucial role in spreading the values of trust and community responsibility. This, in turn, is expected to elevate Vietnamese football and inspire the teams to achieve greater successes, meeting the high expectations of millions of fans.

Mr. Kaneda Hiroki, representing Acecook Vietnam, expressed admiration for the Vietnamese football teams’ relentless efforts and achievements. He committed to standing by the teams in all circumstances, whether in triumph or adversity. Moreover, Acecook Vietnam plans to support the VFF in nurturing young football talent, aiming to build a bright future for Vietnamese football. Hiroki called on the Vietnamese public, especially football enthusiasts, to support the national football endeavors, aiming for new heights and shared joy.

The announcement comes at a critical time for the Vietnamese team as they prepare for upcoming World Cup 2026 qualifiers against Indonesia. Coached by Philippe Troussier, the team is set to face Indonesia away on March 21, followed by a home match at My Dinh Stadium on March 26. Currently, Vietnam is second in their group, having secured a win against the Philippines and faced a narrow defeat against Iraq. Meanwhile, Indonesia, after a heavy loss to Iraq and a draw against the Philippines, is looking to improve their standing. This partnership and the upcoming matches are pivotal for Vietnamese football, signaling a hopeful trajectory for the national teams’ success and the continued growth of football in Vietnam.
