U23 Vietnam remains unbeaten in Tajikistan.

U23 Vietnam maintained an unbeaten record during their trip to Tajikistan, preparing for the upcoming AFC U23 Asian Cup 2024. The team secured a win and a draw in two friendly matches against U23 Tajikistan, scoring one goal and keeping a clean sheet throughout.

With Coach Philippe Troussier focusing on the senior national team’s matches against Indonesia, the U23 squad was led by assistant coaches for these friendlies. These games served as a warm-up for the U23 Vietnam team ahead of the AFC U23 Asian Cup 2024, scheduled to take place from April 15 to May 3 in Qatar. In the tournament, U23 Vietnam will face challenges from Uzbekistan, Kuwait, and Malaysia in Group D.

U23 Vietnam is expected to return home on the night of March 24 and will regroup in early April with the strongest squad to compete in the AFC U23 Asian Cup 2024.
