Vietnamese Cueists triumph at 2024 Carom 3-Cushion World Team Championship

In a historic victory, Vietnamese cueists Tran Quyet Chien and Bao Phuong Vinh clinched the 2024 Carom 3-Cushion World Team Championship, marking a significant milestone for Vietnam in the realm of carom billiards. The duo emerged victorious over the Spanish team, with a final score of 4-2 in a thrilling final match.

The championship match was a nail-biter, with Tran Quyet Chien and Bao Phuong Vinh narrowly defeating Sergio Jimenez and Ruben Legazpi with a score of 15-14. Although Tran Quyet Chien faced a close defeat against Ruben Legazpi in the singles match, with a score of 38-40, Bao Phuong Vinh secured the victory for Vietnam by winning against Sergio Jimenez with a convincing score of 40-22.
