In the latest V.League 1 – 2024/25 transfer news, Thanh Hoa Football Club has officially introduced their new foreign signings, striker Lucas Ribamar and center-back Igor Salatiel Silva, ahead of the 2024/2025 National Cup.
Lucas Ribamar will replace the injured Rimario Gordon, while Igor Salatiel steps in for South Korean player Kim Won Sik. Both new signings are Brazilian nationals.
Igor Salatiel, born in 2000, stands at 1.90 meters tall and most recently played for Al Jahra in Kuwait. Lucas Ribamar, born in 1997, has had multiple appearances in Brazil’s top football league. Notably, in 2016, he made headlines when German club 1860 Munich paid 2.5 million euros (over 60 billion VND at the time) to acquire him from Botafogo.
Both players will be eligible to compete in the National Cup immediately, but they will need to wait until the next registration window to make their debut in the V.League 1.
As defending champions of the National Cup, Thanh Hoa will bypass the qualifying round in this year’s competition.
