The match between The Cong Viettel and Binh Duong, initially scheduled for October 26 at My Dinh Stadium, has been rescheduled. It will now take place at Hang Day Stadium on October 25 at 7:15 PM.
The change comes after a notification from the National Sports Complex, which stated that My Dinh Stadium would be unavailable from October 21 to November 5, 2024, due to a previously contracted event. As a result, the round 5 V-League 2024/2025 match between The Cong Viettel and Binh Duong cannot be held at My Dinh as originally planned.
The Cong Viettel submitted a formal request to the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), the Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF), and the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, proposing the use of Hang Day Stadium as their home ground for this match. The VPF has confirmed this change, and the rescheduled match will now be played a day earlier than initially planned.
Both The Cong Viettel and Binh Duong are tied at 7 points after four rounds of the V-League 2024/2025, trailing Thanh Hoa by two points. A victory in this direct encounter will allow either team to overtake their rival and move closer to the top spot in the championship race.
