Vietnam national team had a training session to familiarize themselves with the Laos National Stadium in order to complete their preparations for the match against Laos, which will take place at 8:00 PM tomorrow (December 9).
On the evening of December 8, the Vietnam national team held a session to get acquainted with the official match pitch, completing their preparations for the upcoming match against Laos, scheduled for 8:00 PM tomorrow (December 9) as part of the opening round of Group B in the AFF Cup 2024.
Out of the 26 players, coach Kim Sang-sik can only register 25 names for the match against Laos, as Nguyen Xuan Son is not yet eligible to play. The 1997-born forward will only be allowed to play from the final group match against Myanmar on December 21, as permitted by FIFA. However, in previous training sessions, Xuan Son has been very enthusiastic. The naturalized striker from Nam Dinh FC is eagerly awaiting the opportunity to wear the Vietnam national team jersey.
