In the latest V-League transfer news, reigning champions Nam Dinh FC have announced the departure of three players: Hoang Van Khanh, Pham Duc Huy, and Ho Khac Ngoc. All three have previously contributed to the Vietnam national team but had limited impact for Nam Dinh during the current season.
Despite their notable experience, Van Khanh, Duc Huy, and Khac Ngoc struggled to secure regular playing time this season and had minimal influence on the team’s performance. Consequently, Nam Dinh FC has decided to release the trio to make room for fresh additions in the second phase of the 2024/2025 V-League campaign.
Hoang Van Khanh and Ho Khac Ngoc, both products of Song Lam Nghe An (SLNA), joined Nam Dinh before the 2023 season. The duo made significant contributions during the 2023 and 2023/2024 campaigns, helping establish Nam Dinh as a competitive force in the V-League. Before the Park Hang-seo era with the national team, Van Khanh and Khac Ngoc earned caps for Vietnam, showcasing their potential on the international stage.
Pham Duc Huy, on the other hand, is a graduate of Hanoi FC’s youth academy. With extensive experience across Vietnam’s U19, U23, and senior teams under Coach Park Hang-seo, Duc Huy is best remembered for his role in Vietnam’s historic runner-up finish at the 2018 AFC U23 Championship and their AFF Cup victory later that same year.
Nam Dinh’s decision to part ways with these players signals a strategic shift as the team seeks to strengthen its roster for the second half of the season. While their departures mark the end of an era for these experienced players at Nam Dinh, it also opens the door for potential new talents to step into the spotlight.
As the reigning V-League champions, Nam Dinh FC remains focused on maintaining their dominance and building a squad capable of competing at the highest level in Vietnamese football. Meanwhile, fans will be keen to see where Van Khanh, Duc Huy, and Khac Ngoc continue their careers and whether they can rediscover their form with new clubs.
