Hanoi FC parts ways with Jaha

Hanoi FC is expected to part ways with midfielder Jaha after just over three months with the team, following the addition of two new foreign players.

The V-League transfer window has garnered attention as Hanoi FC bolsters its attacking options with the signings of midfielder Luka Bobicanec, striker Daniel Passira, and Vietnamese-Canadian midfielder Pierre Lamothe. These new acquisitions strengthen the club’s offensive depth ahead of the second half of the season.

With these reinforcements, Hanoi FC is likely to release two of its current foreign players. Among them, Jaha, the Uzbek midfielder, is considered the most probable departure. Joining Hanoi FC in late September 2024, Jaha has failed to make a significant impact, leading to speculation about his exit. Despite his prior experience in the V-League, his performance has not met expectations, making his departure unsurprising.

In addition to the changes in foreign personnel, Hanoi FC has loaned forward Ho Thanh Minh to PVF-CAND until the end of the season. Thanh Minh, who joined Hanoi FC at the beginning of the campaign, has struggled to secure a place in the starting lineup. The move to the V-League 2 club aims to provide him with more game time to develop his skills and gain valuable experience.

Thanh Minh’s transfer was initially met with surprise, as the striker had not delivered standout performances prior to joining Hanoi FC. However, the club hopes that regular playing opportunities at PVF-CAND will aid in his growth and readiness for top-flight competition in the future.
