Taking advantage of his trip to Hai Phong, coach Kim Sang Sik visited goalkeeper Dinh Trieu at the hospital, where he is undergoing treatment following an injury sustained at the 2024 ASEAN Cup.
Coach Kim Sang Sik expressed deep concern for his player, offering words of encouragement while emphasizing his trust in the hospital to provide the best care to ensure Dinh Trieu’s swift recovery.
The goalkeeper is recovering from an abdominal injury and is expected to rest until the end of the lunar year. Dinh Trieu is projected to return to action in February 2025. For now, he will miss upcoming matches, including Hai Phong FC’s away game against Ha Tinh.
After visiting Dinh Trieu, Kim Sang Sik headed to Lach Tray Stadium to watch Hai Phong FC’s match against Quang Nam in round 10 of the 2024/2025 V-League. The match concluded with a narrow 1-0 victory for the visitors, Quang Nam.
The coach is set to continue his evaluation of national team players in the upcoming V-League round 11 matches scheduled for January 23 and 24, just before the Lunar New Year holiday.
