On March 5, Bac Ninh FC held a ceremony to announce the appointment of their new Technical Director and Head Coach.
At the event, Bac Ninh FC’s president officially appointed Hoang Anh Tuan as the club’s Technical Director and Head Coach. Meanwhile, coach Ngo Quang Truong will take charge of Bac Ninh FC’s youth team.
Born in 1968 in Khanh Hoa, Hoang Anh Tuan is highly regarded for his expertise and has extensive experience coaching Vietnam’s youth national teams, from U17 to U23. His most notable achievement was leading Vietnam U19 to qualify for the 2017 FIFA U20 World Cup.
With his experience in major tournaments, Hoang Anh Tuan is expected to help Bac Ninh FC build a strong and sustainable foundation. In the immediate future, he will lead the club in the 2025 Second Division tournament, with the goal of securing promotion to the First Division in 2026.
Bac Ninh FC was founded in 2023 with a core squad of young players. In 2024, they won the Spring Invitational Cup and performed well in the National Second Division qualifiers, finishing at the top of their group.
Currently, Bac Ninh FC is making thorough preparations for the 2025 National Second Division. In addition to experienced players who have previously competed in the V.League, such as Le Van Hung, Tran Ngoc Son, and Le Sy Minh, the club has also made notable signings, including goalkeeper Doan Huy Hoang and former Vietnam U23 center-back Pham Hoang Lam.
