Hanoi, 19 June, 2025 – On the morning of June 19, Hanoi Police FC officially announced that striker Phan Van Duc has signed a new contract, extending his stay with the club until 2028. This extension highlights the club’s trust in his abilities and their long-term strategic vision.
“The striker has officially put pen to paper on a new deal, continuing his journey in the red shirt until 2028 – a statement of mutual trust, strong connection, and commitment from both sides toward long-term goals,” the club stated on its official channels.
“Challenges and aspirations lie ahead. We wish Van Duc great form, explosive performances, and continued contributions as we chase major milestones together. Determination, spirit, and relentless effort – everything is set for a new chapter!”

This makes Phan Van Duc the latest key player to extend his contract with the capital-based club, following the earlier renewal of Vu Van Thanh.
Van Duc joined Hanoi Police FC at the start of the 2023 season after a highly-rated stint with Song Lam Nghe An, where he had emerged as one of the most promising Vietnamese attackers. Unfortunately, his early time with Hanoi Police FC was hampered by a serious ligament injury, which sidelined him for much of the 2023-2024 V.League season. He only returned to action toward the end of that campaign.
Despite the injury setback, Van Duc is still highly regarded for his technical finesse, intelligent playstyle, and sharp tactical vision. His contract extension underlines the club’s continued confidence in his potential to be a pivotal figure in their squad.
As Hanoi Police FC aim to reclaim domestic glory and assert themselves in continental competitions, Phan Van Duc is expected to play a key role in their pursuit of success in the seasons ahead.
