Cong Phuong welcomes two new teammates

Binh Phuoc, 24 July, 2025 – Cong Phuong and his teammates are experiencing a vibrant summer as Binh Phuoc FC aggressively bolster their squad for the upcoming 2025/2026 campaign. After previously announcing the addition of nine new players, the club has now confirmed the arrivals of two more signings: Ho Thanh Minh and Cao Tran Hoang Hung.

Ho Thanh Minh was part of the U23 Vietnam squad that won the gold medal at the 31st SEA Games held on home soil. He also previously played for Hanoi FC. Known for his agility and physicality, Ho Thanh Minh is expected to provide crucial support to Cong Phuong in Binh Phuoc’s attacking line next season.

Meanwhile, Cao Tran Hoang Hung, a central defender born in 1999, is a product of the The Cong Viettel youth academy and was once called up to the U23 Vietnam national team under coach Park Hang Seo. He spent last season with Binh Dinh FC but struggled to make a lasting impression.

With these two new additions, Binh Phuoc have now brought in a total of 11 new players during the summer transfer window. The club’s recruitment push signals clear intent, particularly as they remain a potential candidate to replace Quang Nam FC in the 2025/2026 V.League 1 season.

Quang Nam FC are facing the possibility of withdrawing from the league due to restructuring, and if the club officially pulls out, Binh Phuoc could be promoted to the top division, provided they receive approval from the majority of stakeholders. The latest signings are viewed as strategic depth options should that opportunity arise.
