Hanoi, 21 August, 2025 – Hanoi FC have officially completed their foreign player quota for the 2025/26 season with the signing of Brazilian winger. Luiz Fernando Nascimento. The 28-year-old attacker finalized his move by putting pen to paper on a contract lasting until the end of the season, becoming the club’s fourth foreign reinforcement alongside Adriel Silva, Willian Maranhão, and Daniel Passira.
Born in São Paulo in 1997, Luiz Fernando stands at 1.75m and is known for his versatility on the flanks, capable of operating effectively on both wings. His technical ability, pace, and adaptability make him a valuable asset for head coach Makoto Teguramori as the team looks to strengthen its attacking depth for both domestic and continental competitions.
Luiz Fernando arrives in Hanoi with a wealth of experience after spending more than a decade playing professional football in the United States. During his career, he represented several clubs including Richmond Kickers, Atlanta United, Memphis 901, and New Mexico City. Across more than 200 professional appearances, the Brazilian winger has accumulated 32 goals and 26 assists, a record that highlights his ability to both score and create for his teammates.
Hanoi FC’s decision to secure his services is seen as a strategic move, particularly as the club aims to challenge on multiple fronts this season.
