Tuan Hai vows to lead Hanoi FC to first win of the season against Thanh Hoa

Hanoi, 24 September, 2025 – Ahead of the highly anticipated Round 5 clash of V.League 1 2025/2026, striker Nguyen Van Tuan Hai has expressed his determination to help Hanoi FC secure their first victory of the season when they face Thanh Hoa.

Hanoi FC have endured a difficult start to the campaign, exiting the National Cup in the first round and failing to record a single win in their first four league matches. Speaking to the media, Tuan Hai admitted the slow start is not unfamiliar but emphasized the team’s resilience. “Since I joined Hanoi FC in 2022, we have often started slower than our rivals. But in tough times, the whole team encourages each other to push through,” he said.

The 1998-born forward acknowledged that recent changes in both the club’s leadership and coaching staff have had a significant impact on team stability. However, he stressed that responsibility ultimately lies with the players. “From training sessions to official matches, everyone has to give their best to bring good results. That is the responsibility we carry as professionals,” Hai stated.

Pressure, according to him, is part of life in professional football. “When results don’t go your way, pressure is unavoidable. What matters is how we face it and rise after setbacks. A league season is not decided in one or two games, but across the whole campaign,” the striker noted.

Looking ahead to the upcoming match against Thanh Hoa, Hai warned that every opponent in V.League 1 poses a challenge. “All clubs in this league are tough because they invest and fight hard for victory. Thanh Hoa are no exception. We must be fully prepared,” he explained.

The arrival of Japanese coach Yusuke Adachi as interim manager has given Hanoi FC a fresh tactical perspective. Despite only working with the squad for a few days, Adachi has already left a strong impression on the players. “Coach Adachi is very meticulous with details, demands high standards in training, and pushes us to give maximum effort. His methods are clear and I believe the team will benefit from them,” Hai shared.

For Hanoi FC, the match against Thanh Hoa is more than just another fixture—it represents a chance to turn the page on a frustrating start and rebuild momentum in their pursuit of a top finish. Thanh Hoa, known for their physical style and disciplined defending, will not make things easy, but with players like Tuan Hai showing determination, Hanoi FC are eager to reward their loyal fans with a much-needed win at Hang Day Stadium.
