Ninh Binh, 7 October 2025 – The 27-year-old midfielder joins Nam Dinh FC as the club look to strengthen their squad before facing one of Asia’s most competitive teams. Lusamba brings valuable international experience and European pedigree, having played for OGC Nice and Amiens in France’s Ligue 1, and most recently for Alanyaspor in the Turkish Super Lig.
Nam Dinh FC confirmed that Lusamba has passed his medical examination and finalized personal terms. The Congolese international is expected to wear the number 24 shirt and will soon be available for selection once his registration is approved by the Asian Football Confederation.

Born in Metz, France, Lusamba began his professional career with Nancy, where he made his Ligue 1 debut at just 17 years old. His technical ability and attacking vision earned him a move to Nice, where he gained further top-flight experience. Over the years, he has developed a reputation as a dynamic midfielder capable of linking play and controlling the rhythm of matches.
After representing France at youth level, Lusamba later chose to play for the Democratic Republic of Congo national team, making his senior debut in 2022. His arrival is seen as a significant step in Nam Dinh’s ongoing efforts to blend international quality with domestic talent as they prepare for regional competition.
The timing of the signing is particularly important. Nam Dinh FC are set to meet Gamba Osaka in what promises to be a challenging AFC Champions League Two fixture. The Japanese club, known for its tactical organization and disciplined style of play, will test Nam Dinh’s defensive structure and midfield coordination. Lusamba’s versatility and composure could play a key role in strengthening the team’s central line.
Nam Dinh FC’s participation in the AFC Champions League Two — the new format replacing the AFC Cup — marks a historic milestone for the club. The team has made steady progress in V.League 1 and now seeks to make an impact on the continental stage.
The club’s supporters have welcomed the signing with great excitement, hopeful that Lusamba’s experience and creativity will provide a new spark in midfield. His debut could come as early as the home match against Gamba Osaka, as Nam Dinh FC aim to open their international campaign with confidence and ambition.
