Hanoi, 4 November 2025 – Hanoi FC finally snapped their two-match losing streak with an emphatic 4-0 victory over PVF-CAND at Hang Day Stadium on the evening of November 4, marking their biggest win of the V.League 1 2025-2026 season. Naturalized forward Do Hoang Hen stole the spotlight with a brilliant brace.
After a difficult run of results, Hanoi FC returned to form in style by demolishing PVF-CAND 4-0 at home in Round 9 of V.League 1 2025-2026. The victory not only ended their two-match losing streak but also reaffirmed the team’s attacking strength under coach Harry Kewell, who is gradually shaping a more dynamic and cohesive side.
The home team started aggressively, pushing high up the pitch in search of an early goal. Their efforts paid off in the 20th minute when Daniel Passira broke the deadlock with a composed finish. The goal lifted the team’s morale and set the tone for a dominant first half.
Riding the momentum, Do Hoang Hen, the newly naturalized midfielder from Brazil, doubled the lead in the 38th minute with a sharp strike inside the box, marking his first goal contribution in domestic competition since receiving Vietnamese citizenship.

After the break, Hanoi FC maintained full control of possession and continued to press forward. In the 52nd minute, Hoang Hen completed his brace with a beautifully curled shot into the far corner, extending the score to 3-0. The home side then slowed the tempo, focusing on midfield control while keeping PVF at bay.
Despite PVF’s attempts to push forward, they failed to produce any real danger against goalkeeper Quan Van Chuan. Their hopes of a comeback were crushed in the 78th minute, when Pham Tuan Hai struck from close range to seal the 4-0 triumph for Hanoi FC.
The defeat marked PVF-CAND’s third consecutive loss, leaving them stuck near the bottom of the standings after eight winless games. Meanwhile, the victory lifted Hanoi FC to sixth place, restoring confidence ahead of their upcoming fixtures.
This match also highlighted Harry Kewell’s tactical progress, as his team showed greater efficiency in attack and improved defensive organization — a promising sign for the capital club’s ambitions in both domestic and continental competitions.
