Ho Chi Minh City, 27 December 2025 – Nguyen Dinh Bac once again earned widespread admiration from fans, not only for his steady progress on the pitch but also for a touching act of generosity immediately following the Vietnam Golden Ball 2025 awards ceremony. The 2004-born forward decided to donate the entire prize money of 45 million VND he received from his individual honors to the Central Relief Mobilization Committee.
After the Vietnam Golden Ball 2025 gala concluded, Dinh Bac shared his joy and gratitude on his personal social media page. He wrote: “Today I am very happy and honored to receive these two prestigious awards. I would like to donate the entire prize money of 45 million VND from these two awards to the Central Relief Mobilization Committee. Thank you all so much for your love and support.”
His decision quickly spread across social media platforms and drew praise from fans and football experts alike. In an era where professional football is increasingly associated with personal branding and commercial value, a young player willingly donating all his prize money to charity is seen as a rare and commendable gesture, reflecting maturity both on and off the field.
Notably, this is not the first time Dinh Bac has impressed with his sense of social responsibility. Previously, after helping U23 Vietnam win the SEA Games 33 gold medal, the Nghệ An-born striker donated his match-worn jersey to a charity program in his hometown. Though simple, the gesture left a strong impression and helped shape his image as a grounded and approachable young star.
At the Vietnam Golden Ball 2025 ceremony, Dinh Bac enjoyed a breakthrough year, claiming a double honor with the Vietnam Silver Ball and the Best Young Men’s Player award. These achievements were widely regarded as well-deserved recognition for the forward of Hanoi Police FC, who has shown clear improvement in both performance and mental strength over the past year. The Vietnam Golden Ball was awarded to Nguyen Hoang Duc, while Nguyen Quang Hai received the Bronze Ball.
Despite his success, Dinh Bac was unable to attend the gala in person, as he is currently training with Vietnam U23 in Qatar in preparation for the AFC U23 Asian Cup 2026, set to take place soon in Saudi Arabia. His absence due to national duty further underlined his professionalism and sense of responsibility.
At just 21 years old, Nguyen Dinh Bac is increasingly seen as a leading figure of Vietnam’s next football generation. Beyond his promising footballing ability, his humility, gratitude, and willingness to give back to the community highlight a level of personal growth that makes him a role model both on and off the pitch.
