Thailand, 6 April 2026 – Middle blocker Ly Thi Luyen has been crowned champion of the Thailand Volleyball League 2026 after helping Nakhon Ratchasima Qmin C VC secure a dramatic 3–2 victory over Harudot Chonburi in the final. Luyen featured in the match and made valuable contributions to her team’s triumph in a tightly contested showdown.
Shortly after lifting the trophy, the Vietnamese player shared her emotions as she prepared to return home. “This post is my sincere thank you to everyone who supported and cared for me during my time in Thailand. There were both happy and challenging moments, but I am truly grateful to have lifted the championship trophy together with the team. Thank you all so much,” she said.

This title marks a major milestone in Luyen’s career, as it is her first national championship after several near misses. Prior to this, she had finished runner-up five times in Vietnam with Hoa Chat Duc Giang, highlighting both her consistency and determination. Earlier in 2026, she also had to settle for second place at the Mongolian National Championship while playing for Hobby Ace, making this victory even more meaningful.
Joining the Thai club in February 2026, Luyen quickly adapted to the new environment and impressed with her performances at the net. Her ability to block, read the game, and contribute offensively helped strengthen Nakhon Ratchasima’s squad during the decisive phase of the season.
Following this success, Luyen is set to return to Vietnam on April 5 to rejoin Hoa Chat Duc Giang for Phase 1 of the 2026 national championship. With newfound confidence and valuable international experience, she is expected to play a key role for her club in the upcoming domestic campaign.
