Hanoi, 26 April 2026 – The final match of Round 20 in the V.League 1 – 2025/26 took place on the evening of April 26 between Hanoi Police FC and Song Lam Nghe An, ending in a 4–2 victory for the home side, with Nguyen Dinh Bac stealing the spotlight with a hat-trick.
Superior in both quality and form, the hosts quickly dominated possession and opened the scoring in the 19th minute when Dinh Bac tapped in from close range following a pass from Stefan Mauk.
The match became more open after the early goal as Song Lam Nghe An pushed forward in search of an equalizer, leaving spaces at the back. Hanoi Police FC capitalized immediately, with Dinh Bac netting his second in the 24th minute after an assist from Nguyen Quang Hai.
With a comfortable two-goal cushion, the hosts played with greater confidence. In the 35th minute, Minh Phuc added a third goal. Before halftime, Song Lam Nghe An pulled one back through Olaha from the penalty spot after goalkeeper Nguyen Filip fouled Reon Moore.
Hanoi Police FC maintained control in the second half, and in the 56th minute, Dinh Bac completed his hat-trick to make it 4–1. The visitors managed to score again through Olaha, but it was not enough to change the outcome.
The win moves Hanoi Police FC closer to the title, extending their lead to nine points over The Cong Viettel. With only six rounds remaining, the championship race appears nearly decided, leaving the battle for second and third place as the main focus in the final stretch of the season.
