Ninh Binh, 20 May 2026 – Nam Dinh FC have officially announced the departures of four foreign players: Walber Motta, Caique, Njabulo Blom, and Kyle Hudlin.
“Thank you Motta, Caique, Blom and Kyle Hudlin for your contributions during your time with the club. Wishing you all the best in your future careers,” Nam Dinh stated on May 20.
The decision comes after the club’s disappointing campaign, with the former V.League 1 champions officially losing their title and ending their journeys in both regional and continental competitions.

This season, Nam Dinh showed strong ambition to make an impact internationally by heavily investing in foreign signings. However, the Vietnamese side suffered an early exit in the AFC Champions League Two group stage before recently falling to Selangor FC in the semi-finals of the ASEAN Club Championship.
Among the four departing foreign players, striker Kyle Hudlin left the biggest impression. The 2.06m forward starred in the National Super Cup with a brace against Hanoi Police FC, but later struggled to secure a regular place in Nam Dinh’s lineup.
At the moment, Nam Dinh sit sixth in the V.League 1 standings with 31 points and are set to face Hanoi FC in Round 24 on May 24.
