V.League 1 newcomers continue squad overhaul with four new signings

Dong Nai, 10 July 2026 – Newly promoted Dong Nai FC have stepped up their preparations for the 2026/27 V.League 1 campaign by strengthening their squad with a series of notable additions during the summer transfer window.

Over the past few days, the club has officially unveiled three new recruits: full-back Nguyen Van Duc, goalkeeper Pham Van Phong, and Serbian midfielder Miloš Vulić.

Nguyen Van Duc arrives with valuable V.League 1 experience after previous spells with Cong An Ha Noi FC and Hong Linh Ha Tinh. The attacking full-back has also trained with the Vietnam National Team, highlighting his potential at the highest level.

Meanwhile, veteran goalkeeper Pham Van Phong adds experience and stability between the posts. He previously represented The Cong Viettel and Sai Gon FC, and has also earned call-ups to the Vietnam National Team during his career.

The headline signing, however, is Serbian international Miloš Vulić. The midfielder featured in 25 Serie A matches for Crotone, where he faced some of Italy’s biggest clubs, including Inter Milan, AC Milan, and Juventus. Vulić has also made two appearances for the Serbia National Team, bringing valuable international experience to the V.League newcomers.

The trio is expected to play key roles as Dong Nai FC looks to establish itself in Vietnam’s top flight following promotion. Their arrivals also reflect the club’s ambition to build a competitive squad capable of challenging more established V.League sides.

Dong Nai FC’s recruitment drive is not expected to stop there. The club is reportedly planning additional signings in the coming weeks as it continues preparations for its debut V.League 1 season, which is scheduled to kick off in early September.
